Catherine Kleckner, Gallery Owner

Catherine has been active in the art world for over a decade, working in marketing, sales, and consulting.  Today, she is the owner of CK Art, a contemporary art gallery in Sacramento, CA.

With an exceptional eye for quality, Catherine enjoys discovering and sharing the work of talented artists.  Her mission is to consistently provide value and delight for her clients.

Catherine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Sonoma State University, spending one year abroad in Florence, Italy.  She earned her Master’s degree in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York.  While earning her Master’s degree she enjoyed living in Manhattan and visiting prominent art collections in Washington D.C., Marfa, Miami, and London.  She has worked at art galleries in Sacramento, Davis, Napa, and Manhattan.

Since returning to the Sacramento area, Catherine has let nothing stand in the way of her passion to share art with her community.  She co-founded a local art consulting firm, earning clients such as Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health.   She has served on several committees in support of local art events, including the Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival, Sacramento Latin Music & Arts Festival, Artober, and Sacramento’s unique temporary art exhibit “Art Hotel,” which attracted over 12,000 visitors in only 10-days.  Catherine currently serves on the Board of Directors for Blue Line Arts.
